This property is located in the condominium El Refugio, in the district of Cieneguilla, province of Lima, Department of Lima, in Peru. The House has a single floor, which contains a fully open social area that integrates all the spaces very well. The living and dining room as well as the open kitchen have a solid wooden ceiling of high height which invite you to enjoy a warm atmosphere. All this area opens completely to the terrace to integrate all the social areas. The living and dining room are divided by a chimney covered in stone and wood, which tie the style of the house. Next to the dining room opens a kitchen with fully integrated bar. At the back of the dining room we can find a hermetic wine storage room all in wood. The terrace contains on one side a barbecue area, what we call a “horno serrano” that it is a type of oven, and a fixed bar that is integrated with the dining room and gives the feeling of continuity within the house. Next to the dining room we can find the living room overlooking the pool, which contains a jacuzzi, and has as a finishing point the natural hill of the land and always surrounded by a large vegetation. All this area is covered by a light wooden ceiling with polycarbonate. The private area is composed of four family bedrooms each of them with bathroom and one large master bedroom with a big bathroom and walking closet. The master bedroom has a privileged location within the house overlooking the garden and swimming pool. The whole house has the same floor of porcelanite looking like wood boards. For both architecture and interior design, we used a country style very typical of the Peruvian mountains, but still modern maintaining the warmth of the wood and brick and using a neutral furniture with pieces from Peruvian art. The lighting played an important role when designing. The ground area is 1500.00 m², with a roofed area of 381.24 m² and a free area of 2508.86 m². The materials are rustic, basic and simple according to the type of climate from the area and taking in consideration the maintenance of the house, since it is a country house. Porcelain tiles were used in different formats in floor and walls, also Microcemento in different finishes, bricks and wood.
