Max Mara renews and expands its flagship store in London, located in the prestigious Old Bond Street.
Structured on three selling floors, this space of almost 1,000 square meters is one of the largest Max Mara stores of Europe.
The keyword to this design is contrast: the succession of volumes and empty spaces, the ensemble of different materials, the combination of straight and curve lines, everything contributes in giving a unique look to the London boutique.
The helicoidal staircase, connecting all the three levels of the shop, becomes the connection element in a predominantly grey environment: the grey stone, together with the cement, the light linen and the bright brass create a contemporary, intimate and cozy atmosphere.
The three levels of the new store are distinguished by their different personality: the basement is an intimate and reserved space, delimited by brass volumes and a large LED wall. The ground floor has distinctive wide windows, and extends over an elegant flooring. The entrance is highlighted with a grey stone floor that flows into the inner parts, where the accessories collection takes place. The first floor unfolds around a large flat roof turned into a garden that allows natural light to permeate, making the whole floor more spacious and elegant.
