World Architecture Community Awards 36th Cycle Winners Announced
World Architecture Community has announced the winners of WA Awards 10+5+X 36th Cycle in Architecture, Interior Design and Student categories. We have 49 different winning projects from 21 different countries with a fantastic mix of building types, spanning from China to South Korea, Australia to Vietnam.
In short, the winning countries can be listed as Vietnam, Australia, South Korea, France, Turkey, China, India, Mexico, Egypt, United States, Iran, Jordan,Pakistan, Antarctica, Portugal, Kiribati, Costa Rica, Japan, Taiwan, Serbia, Saudi Arabia.
WA Awards 10+5+X 36th Cycle Architecture/Realised category
In Architecture/Realised category, VTN Architects has won the WA Awards with 3 projects: Nocenco Cafe, Farming Kindergarten and Chicland Hotel In Danang, which have been selected by the votes of Honorary Members and Winners in earlier cycles in Realised category.
In addition, VTN Architects' Chicland Hotel In Danang has won the WA Award through the ratings of WAC Community Members, while HPP International Turkey & Gerhard G. Feldmeyer's AND Kosyatağı from Turkey is selected democratically, through the ratings of WAC Community Members.
Sanjay Puri's Aria Hotel from India, Yazgan Design Architecture's Longosphere Glamping from Turkey, Gianni Ranaulo Design's Mon Grand Plaisir from France, MIA Design Studio's Villa Tan Dinh from Vietnam are among the WA Awards winners in the 36th Cycle.
WA Awards 10+5+X 36th Cycle Architecture/Designed category
In Architecture/Designed category, Sanzpont Arquitectura's Living The Noom from Mexico, Studio Symbiosis' ID Origins from India, Domain Architects' Chengdong Elderly Nursing Home from China, Selim Senin's Observation Tower from Turkey have been selected by the votes of Honorary Members and Winners in earlier cycles in Designed category, while Niraj Doshi Design Consultancy's The House On The Hill from India is selected democratically, through the ratings of WAC Community Members.
WA Awards 10+5+X 36th Cycle Architecture/Student category
In Architecture/Student category, Yen-Han Liu's Safe House For Women And Children from India, Naheel Salloum's Mount Nebo Interpretation Center from Jordan, Maira Yasir's Mandra Brickworks: Defining The Hearth Of A Brickfield from Pakistan, Pappal Suneja's Cost Effective Habitat from India have won the WA Awards and have been selected by the votes of Honorary Members and Winners in earlier cycles.
Laila Qussai's Behind The Theater from Jordan and Yuxuan Cai's CONTINUANCE - An Island World Continues To Rise With The Sea Levels from Kiribati have won the WA Awards through the ratings of WAC Community Members.
WA Awards 10+5+X 36th Cycle Interior Design/Realised category
In Interior Design/Realised category, BEHIVE Architects' “SAVHE” In Community: Atour S Hotel from China, Kotaro Horiuchi's Fusionner 3.0 - Air House from Japan, JSARQ's Filippo Wood Oven from Costa Rica Peihe Xie's Anbong Home from China have won the WA Awards in Interior Design/Realised category, which have been selected by the votes of Honorary Members and Winners in earlier cycles.
In addition, ATÖLYE's Sezin School - Primary School And Kindergarten from Turkey, Hui Hsin Cheng's POLO CAFÉ Hsinchu Big City from Taiwan won the WA Awards in the same category which have been selected through the ratings of WAC Community Members.
WA Awards 10+5+X 36th Cycle Interior Design/Student category
In Interior Design/Student category, Seyed MohammadHossein Rahmati's The Interior Redesign Project Of Mazandaran University from Iran, Hanieh Lotfipour's The Village Of Life from Iran, Anirudha .S. Adivarekar's Arabian Sea Oceanarium: Place To Call Home For Marine Life from India have won the WA Awards, which have been selected by the votes of Honorary Members and Winners in earlier cycles.
Furthermore, Seyed MohammadHossein Rahmati's The Interior Redesign Project Of Mazandaran University from Iran, Hanieh Lotfipour's The Village Of Life from Iran have also been selected as the winners through the ratings of WAC Community Members.

The competition has 2 selection criteria; One by the votes of its official jury, composed of honorary members and previous' cycle winners, delivering 10 awards, in each of the three categories (Realised, Designed and Student). Another by the ratings of WAC's registered members who decide to rate, which makes the +5, a totally democratic selection. In a category, if there are less than 15 submissions in total, in that case, 2/3 of the submitted projects that have the higher votes by the cycle's official jury and 1/3 of the submitted projects that have the higher rates by the registered members will be awarded.

With this announcement, we want to also remind you that the 37th Cycle of WA Awards is now open for submissions. You can submit your entries until March 22, 2021. If you also want your project to get the recognition it deserves, make sure to participate before the deadline is over.
